In 1988, Unitek Environmental began operations in Guam providing the U.S. Navy with hazardous waste packaging and disposal services and has developed into the region’s most diversified environmental services firm providing turn-key solutions to clients in Guam and the Pacific Basin region.
Unitek maintains a highly trained staff of environmental and UXO/MEC professionals. We believe that the execution of a successful project requires the services of a carefully selected team of experienced professionals. Unitek and our resources consist not only of individuals with the requisite skills and experience to successfully complete your project on time and within budget, but also of a cohesive team of experts consisting of Environmental Consultants and Scientists, UXO/MEC Professionals, Supervisors, Project Managers, Coordinators and Specialists.
Unitek is a Guam Corporation classified as small, veteran owned, HUB Zone business. We are the regions only fully bonded Environmental and UXO/MEC service firm. Unitek’s track record gives our clients assurance that UXO/MEC projects will be completed in compliance with the Guam Joint Region Marianas (JRM) Explosive Safety Submission (ESS) from Digital Geophysical Mapping (DGM) investigation through intrusive activities to a green site.

We owe the Client a special duty as the owner’s “expert” representative.

To achieve this, we must be the “project advocate” as well. In order to maintain this responsibility to our clients we adhere to a code of ethics as professionals responsible for the successful completion of the project. These services are engaged based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the types of services to be performed and at fair and reasonable prices to the Client. Unitek has performed Environmental and UXO/MEC projects under several federal, local and private contracts. Through this experience, Unitek’s team has gained an excellent understanding of project requirements and a depth of experience in responding to them. Our team is proficient at a multitude of tasks and can effectively plan for flexible workload and scheduling requirements. We can respond to smaller projects with short project durations, including those that require highly specialized and out of the ordinary services. The depth of our project experience will provide a distinct benefit to the Client.
